This is the prologue for West side story when the two gangs get into contact with their enemy. The music sets the mood, and the ballet dance has fights choreographed into it. The prince in this interpretation is the police officer and mayor. In our version, the prince is the Umpire in a baseball game.

This is the prologue from the "Romeo + Juliet" movie. The scene takes place in modern times, however the dialogue is all Shakespeare. This is similar to our take of the scene, instead though, we use modern slang.

Below is the Prologue of Romeo and Juliet, but in a ballet sense. This is an mp3 format of the 1954 production of Romeo and Juliet. The purpose of the music in the background is to set a mood for the dialogue, this is similar to our reasons for the music.
